Ten days prior to closing, an independent energy technician will inspect your home and insure that all energy design specifications have been met. You’ll receive a certificate that states your beautiful new Traditions of America home provides Comfort Plus!

• Andersen Low E, double hung, insulated windows that tilt in for easy cleaning, with screens
• Energy saver, 50-gallon, gas, hot water heater

• Roof vent and vented soffit to maximize attic ventilation
• Fiberglass front door with core insulation
• R-19 wall insulation & R-40 ceiling insulation (R-30 in volume ceilings)
• Expandable foam installed at all exterior penetrations to minimize air infiltration
• All homes wrapped with Super Tuff-R Sheathing for energy efficiency
• Zoned damper control for loft homes

Energy Audit Package

• Sealing of all sheathing and wallboard penetrations from outside airflow
• Inspection of all insulation installations
• Infrared Camera survey to assure an invulnerable thermal envelope
• Blower door test confirm airtight construction
• Energy Audit Certificate to ensure efficiency
