Last month, at a presale event for Traditions of America at Lititz, 67 nonbinding reservations were placed in less than two hours, said Nathan Jameson, a partner in Traditions of America, a Radnor-based company that's built retirement communities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

"We've never seen such excitement" for a project, he said. Forty-eight contracts have been signed so far, and the first residents will moving in next September.

“It was a great event. Within an hour and a half, we had 65 people select their lots. It was exciting and a lot of fun,” said David Biddison with Traditions of America.
Because the builders say living there will be a lot of fun. “They would rather play golf than mow the lawn and they would rather be at the book club than do the mulching outside the house. That’s why we believe it was successful,” said Biddison.

Delaware County-based Traditions of America booked 65 reservations over the weekend at a presale event for its newest community in Warwick Township. That is the biggest presale event in the company's history, said Nathan Jameson, director of operations and a partner.
