Developer of Active Adult Lifestyle Communities Poised for Tremendous Growth with the Opening of 6 New Active Adult Communities
PHILADELPHIA, PA – August 29, 2006. Traditions of America, a national leader in developing Active Adult communities, has hired Marty Dwyer as Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Dwyer has over 20 years of experience in the building industry. As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Dwyer will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Philadelphia-based company.

Most recently Mr. Dwyer was President and Chief Operating Officer of Wexford Homes in Saline, Michigan. Prior to this, he was Vice President and Operations Leader of Charter Homes, a leading builder in Central Pennsylvania and was Vice President and Regional Manager for Toll Brothers for the New England region where he was responsible for opening new markets in Rhode Island, Western Connecticut, and Southern Massachusetts. He also led the development efforts for large master planned communities in California, Arizona, Texas and Nevada. He started his real estate career with Kenneth Leventhal and Co., CPA in Newport Beach, California.
Mr. Dwyer is a graduate of the University of Scranton and has completed Executive Management programs in Development Management, Land Use and Environmental Planning at the University of California. He holds or has held licenses as a CPA, Real Estate Broker, and general contractor. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, American Planning Association, and Congress of New Urbanism. He has served his communities on corporate, charitable, community, and recreational boards.
