TIMOTHY R. McCARTHY, Managing Director
Mr. McCarthy has 25 years of experience developing retirement home communities and other real estate, as well as in financing, management and consulting. He is a frequent speaker at the National Association of Home Builders International Builders’ Show, a published author on 55 plus retirement communities and has served as a judge for the Senior Housing Award Program.
Mr. McCarthy's real estate experience is expansive. In addition to building the award-winning garden homes and single family homes that are the hallmark of Traditions of America communities, during his career he has undertaken urban redevelopment in the form of historic high-rise apartments and office buildings as well as mixed use, commercial and retail centers.
Prior to entering the development and construction business, Mr. McCarthy was manager of the real estate division at Arthur Anderson & Co.’s Philadelphia office. He is a graduate of Villanova University.
NATHAN JAMESON, Director of Operations
Nathan W. Jameson is a Director of Operations. He is active in the National Association of Homebuilders’ 50+ Housing Council and was a charter member of Philadelphia's council for retirement community developers, PennDel 50+. In 2006 and 2007, he was named one of the Top 50 Executives in 50+ Housing by 50+ Builder Magazine.
He is active in the community, contributing time to organizations such as the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Red Cross.
He has an MBA in finance and management from Lehigh University where he participated in the Murray H. Goodman Center for Real Estate Studies. Mr. Jameson is a Phi Beta Kappa inductee and a former Rhodes Scholar Nominee.
DAVID BIDDISON, Director of Operations
David O. Biddison leads sales and operations. Prior to joining Traditions of America, Mr. Biddison worked at Rosenberg, Martin, Greenberg LLP in Baltimore, Maryland. While there, Mr. Biddison worked on a variety of real estate matters including commercial lending, commercial leasing and acquisition, financing, and development of real property.
Mr. Biddison previously was a litigation associate at Kahn, Smith & Collins in Baltimore, Maryland and also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. Bollinger of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.
Mr. Biddison is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of Maryland School of Law.
PETER YESNER, Chief Financial Officer
Peter S. Yesner has over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate, and is a driving force behind many of the innovative financing programs available to buyers at Traditions’ retirement communities.
Prior to joining Traditions and its affiliates, he was Chief Financial Officer of PRG Real Estate, a multi-family property management firm, and a Controller at Liberty Property Trust. He started his career at Price Waterhouse, where he worked with a variety of real estate clients.
Mr. Yesner is a CPA and a summa cum laude graduate of Temple University. He is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of CPAs.
